A taste of summer

There's something about that first real taste of summer to start cranking ideas of all of the " fun " things that are to come.  Long walks, running, swings in the park, open windows, planting the garden, cooking on the grill, beach days, bare feet, "girls only" Shipsy day(s), bonfires, s'mores (YUM!), crickets (outside only please), picnics on a blanket, family, the squeals of children playing, and best of all...naps in a hammock.

Yesterday we were able to enjoy that "taste of summer" and I don't think I've ever been so ready for it to come!  Little b was able enjoy her first "real" summer and I think she's a fan.  So many things to put in her mouth and new textures to feel, plus who doesn't like to go barefoot? Well...This girl does!  Here's a glimpse of our backyard, first of the year, sit in the grass, day.

Who doesn't like cute pink baby toes?

A sign of life Kaleb found in our garden...

Love summer hats.
